Professor Pevar will show new and different sets of court rulings into how Supreme Court decisions have defined tribal sovereignty, land rights, and the relationship between tribes and the U.S. government. For each case: the background and facts will be presented, the audience then predicts how and why the Court ruled and then the actual decision will be revealed, explaining its legal impact.
