Herman Melville was an omnivorous reader, a man of insatiable curiosity, and an adventurous soul. He poured all of that into his novel 'Moby Dick'. I hope just a taste of life on the high seas, sailing with Ishmael and his memorable shipmates, to "see the watery part of the world" will inspire you to read the whole novel. You do NOT need to have read the entire novel already. We will read and explore snippets together.
