| Event: | FS-01 Beaver Pond Wildlife | Dates: | 9/25, 11/20 | Time: | 1:00 to 3:00 | Category: | Fall2024-Seminar | Location: | Seabury Chapel/ Heritage Hall | Presenter: | Ray Asselin, New England Forests | From Spring to Fall, the final two parts of the 5-part movie series on Beaver Pond Wildlife started this past Spring. Few wildlife species are more intriguing, and none has a greater ability to alter and create habitat than that iconic keystone species, the beaver. This unassuming mammal goes about its daily life setting up and maintaining its homestead, all the while creating aquatic and terrestrial conditions that so many other creatures rely on. "Beaver Pond Wildlife" documents much of the wildlife to be found at, in, and on typical northeast beaver ponds over a full year's time.
